We are a full service multi-family property management company with over ten years of experience. Our track record of consistently delivering superior quality property management, sound fiscal oversight and personalized service to our clients and residents is what defines us. Property & Asset Management:
It’s our belief that our clients’ investments deserve the attention of highly trained, financially knowledgeable individuals that can be trusted to manage their assets. Our approach is to run it like we own it; which is why each community we manage is assigned a dedicated Asset Manager. This strategy compliments our commitment to sound fiscal oversight and personalized service.
We currently manage properties in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Colorado, Missouri, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Michigan.
Compliance:
Many of the communities we manage are layered with different types of public housing programs. These include but are not limited to Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), HUD Project Based Section 8, HUD Section 236, HOME, and Bonds. These programs are heavily regulated and require absolute adherence to State and Federal laws. To ensure compliance, we have a dedicated team of specially trained professionals who review and approve all new leases, re-certifications, and conduct on-site audits.
Due Diligence:
We provide additional services for investors who are considering purchasing investment properties. These services vary by client needs, but may include physical inspections, financial assessment, and/or-compliance auditing.
Accounting:
Our financial reporting is second to none. We prepare and electronically distribute comprehensive financial reports to each of our clients every month. These reports allow our clients to quickly and easily view the financial health of their investments, so that they can make more informative business decisions. We’re also very proud of the reputation we’ve built with outside auditing firms. Our ability to consistently produce accurate and informative financials results in fewer findings and lower risk exposure for our clients and owners.
Information Technology:
Each of our properties is equipped with specialized property management software which better enables us to manage the day-to-day activities. All of our clients receive secure access to this software so that they can monitor their investments at any time.
Human Resources:
We believe that our team members provide us with a competitive advantage and therefore, we are committed to developing and retaining the very best talent within the industry. This commitment is demonstrated through active recruiting, a comprehensive training curriculum, established career paths, and ongoing leadership development. All team members at the managed properties have direct access to our Human Resource department, and benefit from employer sponsored health insurance, retirement planning, and employee assistance.
Insurance:
As part of our management services, we’ve created a portfolio insurance program that currently includes an insurance replacement value of over $750 Million. As a result, participating owners enjoy competitively priced liability and property insurance rates with high replacement values, low deductibles, and no co-insurance.
Participating owners receive separate insurance policies for each of their properties. Coverage exceeds lender and equity partner standards. In addition to placing and administering insurance coverage, UAH handles all loss claims.
We’ve also created a separate wind insurance risk pool for properties located in counties that are required to maintain separate wind insurance coverage (Tier 1). Owners participating in this risk pool, may “buy up” lower deductibles as may best suit their individual needs.
